She is an astounding singer. My family sang to her songs when life seems to be on a thin line. We would quote on that “I believe the children are our future” and why we should make a difference other than smirking at what they are now. The lyric of “I will always love you,” would constantly tease me as I grew up. But in the end, I finally taught myself that perhaps - and only perhaps - that absolute word, “always”,  could only express why I’ll never let him go. It’s because I found love. 

Her life was taken away too early but her frank words will always be with me. My favorite singer, my idol, my hero.
